David Chen Fresno Support Call to Order and Roll Call

Thank you for including funding for the after-school programs in the parks budget. As a teacher at Roosevelt High, I see the direct impact these programs have on keeping kids engaged and safe after school. The partnership between Parks & Recreation and the school district has been a model for the region. Please continue this investment.

Derek Simmons Fresno Oppose Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes

I have concerns about the speed at which this item is moving forward. A $4.2 million contract should have more than two weeks of public review. I request that this item be tabled until the next regular meeting to allow residents adequate time to review the environmental documents and cost breakdown. Rushing major expenditures undermines public trust.
