Oppose
I oppose the proposed fee increase for building permits. Small homeowners are already struggling with costs, and a 15% increase will discourage people from making improvements to their properties. This will hurt the very neighborhoods the city says it wants to revitalize. Please consider a phased approach or exemptions for owner-occupied single-family homes.
