Planning Commission

The Planning Commission reviews and makes recommendations on land use, zoning, general plan amendments, conditional use permits, subdivision maps, and environmental impact reports. Composed of seven members appointed by the City Council, the Commission serves as the primary advisory body on development and growth issues. Regular meetings are held on the first and third Wednesdays at 6:00 PM. The Commission plays a critical role in shaping the city's long-term development through the General Plan and various specific plans.
